Benvenuto! Welcome to Italy. Upon exiting customs, you will be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will escort you to your transfer vehicle. Relax as the driver assists with your luggage and transports you to the Gran Meliá Rome Hotel.

Approach the Basilica via St. Peter's Square and marvel at this renowned example of Renaissance architecture that remains the largest church in the world. The burial place of St. Peter and many popes since, this site was originally constructed in the 4th century. Michelangelo's iconic dome dominates the skyline of Rome.

Traverse the towering cylindrical building, once the tallest in Rome, initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum and later used as a fortress by the popes.

Travel to Orvieto, Umbria
Journey via motor coach to the glorious Umbrian and Tuscan countryside. Along the way, take an illuminating excursion to Orvieto, a medieval settlement crowned with a magnificent cathedral, considered by many as one of Europe's greatest Gothic masterpieces.

Lunch at Relais Gli Ulivi
Revel in the quintessential Italian experience as you visit this family-owned private estate, Relais Gli Ulivi—that translates to "The Olive Orchard"—to feast on an authentic Umbrian repast featuring local food, olive oil and wine. Feel like part of the family as you learn to make a traditional dessert known as Torta Della Nonna—"Grandmother's Cake."

Junior Adventurers – Lawn Games & Swimming*
Fun and frolic is the order of the afternoon for kids as Adventure Guides teach them classic Italian lawn games. Swimming is also available for the kids.

Junior Adventurers – Dinner & Disney Movie
Following an evening of lawn games and an Italian soda tasting activity, Junior Adventurers will enjoy a kids-only dinner, followed by a Disney movie.

Pasta-Making Activity at Fattoria Poggio Alloro
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, travel by coach to this working farm—complete with winery—located in the heart of the Chianti wine-growing region. Be welcomed by the chef, who will lead you in a fun pasta-making activity. Be sure to take in the spectacular views of the medieval towers of San Gimigano, a fortified hilltop town, standing on a nearby hilltop.

Adult Wine Tasting in Winery
Tour the family winery and then partake in the local flavors as your participate in a wine-tasting.

Kids Olive Oil Flavoring
Junior Adventurers learn how to flavor their own olive oil—which they may give as a gift to their parents.

Lunch at Fattoria Poggio Alloro
Enjoy a beautiful pasta lunch at this picturesque farm. Weather permitting, lunch will be served on the terrazzo, overlooking the beautiful scenery and medieval towers of San Gimigano.

Get a close-up look at this monumental palace built in Venetian Gothic style. Now a museum, this landmark was once the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the Republic of Venice. Junior Adventurers will get to play sleuths as they participate in a special Adventures by Disney art detective game designed by Disney, exclusively for kids. 

Venetian Carnevale Mask-Making
After breakfast at the hotel, take a scenic walk through town and head to Tragicomica, a studio where you will get private, hands-on instruction in the art of mask-making—and construct a masquerade masterpiece of your own!

Share a Venetian lunch with your fellow adventurers before heading out to Doges Palace!
